Linda Burquez, Doctor of Medical Qigong (DMQ China)

Linda Burquez is a dedicated movement expert with over 30 years of experience in the healing and movement arts. Since 2008, she has worked closely with groups of women, offering her expertise in breast care, menopause, and overall women’s health. Linda‘s classes are infused with the wisdom she’s cultivated from her deep study of Chinese Medical Qigong, as well as her training in therapeutic bodywork, polarity therapy, Pilates, and Nia Dance.

Her passion lies in empowering women to take charge of their health through preventive care and energy flow practices. When she’s not leading classes or building community, you can often find Linda dancing in nature, where she draws inspiration from the natural rhythms around her.

  • What is Qigong?

  • Qigong is a type of ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing, and movement techniques.

  • What is the difference between Tai Chi and Qigong?

  • Qigong movement is easier to learn than tai chi in that it does not require as much memorization. The ease of Qigong allows you to focus on feeling and building the internal energy of the body.

  • I am new to the practice- Will it be too hard for me?

  • The classes are for all levels and can be practiced standing or sitting. Modifications are provided throughout, and as always, listen to your body and you can skip a movement if needed.

  • Are recordings available?

  • Yes, you will receive access to all of the three (3) recorded LIVE sessions. You will receive a replay link after each session.

  • Where and When do the sessions take place?
